HandCompose does not collect, transmit or share any personal information. It has no network access at all.
None. The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking components, and it never connects to the internet.
Your songs (tracks, notes, tempo), the audio you import, and app settings are saved in the app's private storage on your device. Other apps cannot read them, and they never leave the device unless you export or back them up yourself.
When you import a MIDI or audio file, the app reads only the single file you picked. When you export MIDI or audio, it writes only to the location you picked. It never browses or scans your storage on its own.
The app asks for Bluetooth only when you open the Bluetooth MIDI screen to pair a MIDI keyboard. It is used solely to connect the keyboard you choose and to receive the notes you play; nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
If iCloud Backup is turned on, your songs and settings may be included in your own device backup. Imported audio is left out of that backup because of its size. This is handled by iOS, not by this app, and you can turn it off in Settings.
Uninstalling the app removes all songs, audio and settings it stored. There is nothing held on any server to delete.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
